War of Robots is a 2D platform action game, where player play as a robot based on older robotic technology, being the last hope of mankind to fight against the Sentients. 

My roles in this project

Designer -Plot and mechanics.

Artist - Used Adobe Illustrator CC to create character designs, environment, items and special effects. Used Adobe Flash/Animate CC to compile animations of characters, weapons and special effects.

Plot of the Game

Humans thought that they did not need their old robotic technology anymore after finding an unknown mineral known as "magic crystal". While this magic crystal brought them far greater technology, their creation became too smart and became Sentients. With the sentients endangering the mankind, the humans went back to their old robotic technology, with it being their last hope of winning the war against the Sentients.

Play as one of the old robot type known as Labourbot. Defeat Sentient enemies and save the mankind!

Game Mechanics

Elemental Powers - Enemies have different elemental weaknesses. Switching and using correct elements can help you defeat enemies faster. Using the wrong elements will result in less effectiveness, dealing lesser damage to enemies. Not using any elemental power will allow the damage dealt to be consistent.

Robotic Upgrades - By using the magic crystals collected in the levels, you can unlock and upgrade abilities to give your robot a boost in fighting power.
